This was the outcome of the two photos from below. I tried using GIMP at first but the tutorials were a little confusing at times so I switched to Photoshop to see the difference. I liked Photoshop much better, it was not as confusing, but I still had a hard time with cutting. It took several hours to try to cut out the cow, I'm not sure if I have a newer version but some of the tabs the tutorials wanted you to use were named differently.
You have done a fine job with this. It takes a while to get the hang of any new tool, so don't beat yourself up about it. Yes, software developers love to change things around. Part of the joy of learning is exploration and discovering things that you may not have known existed.
