Having five children you can just imagine trying to get a NICE photo of them together! My difficulty is trying to get the to stop fooling around to get one. I thank whoever made the digital camera because I probably take at least fifty photos just to get one half decent one! The fake smile is awful, the fooling around is always so trying to get a great photo is almost impossible!
I love black and white photos, having them be serious I think let people use their imaginations to make their own stories as to the expressions.
Again, trying to get a good photo! Even below when we decide to do a serious one, some are trying so hard not to smile and laugh!
So awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe first two shots look like they are good warm-up shots. The third one is excellent. You have cropped it nicely and the focus is exquisite so that you can see the details in their expressions.
The rest of the shots are awesome. The black and whites are perfect. You really helped them to express themselves a little bit in a new way. And you have created awesome photographs/portraits, which express who they are and what some of their passion is.
You are on the right track with this, keep on moving in this direction.
I love the fourth photo, the angle of the photo and the look in the subject's eyes makes the photo rather intense. The black and white touch to the fourth-sixth photos adds to the serious feel of them too. The remaining "family-style" portraits are very nicely composed!
